He was a Product Manager at Progressive Insurance. He has project management experience at iXL and at CapitalOne. He started his career as a Topsides Facilities Engineer at Shell.
Mr. Rose is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He earned his MBA at the University of Virginia - Darden Graduate School of Business Administration.

Michael P. Kehoe is the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Kinsale Capital Group Ltd. and its E&S subsidiary – Kinsale Insurance Company. He was President & Chief Executive Officer of James River Insurance Company from its founding as a development stage company back in November 2002 until March 2008. Prior to joining James River, Mr. Kehoe served as Vice President of Brokerage Underwriting for Colony Insurance. He was responsible for the brokerage underwriting divisions of the company. He started his insurance career at American International Group as a Casualty Underwriter.
Mr. Kehoe earned a B.A. degree in Economics from Hampden-Sydney College and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Richmond School of Law. He has been a member of the Virginia State Bar since 1993.

Ed Grier

Ed Grier joined the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business as dean on March 8, 2010. Before coming to VCU, Grier spent 29 years as a top level executive for Walt Disney Company. His work with Disney spanned the globe from Tokyo to Paris. He served as President of Disneyland Resort. He started his career as a CPA and auditor at Ernst and Young.
Mr. Grier earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Duquesne University in 1977. He has served in a number of volunteer positions including as the commissioner of the California Travel and Tourism Commission, as a member of the California Economic Recovery Task Force, and as a board member of the Children's Hospital of Orange County, CA.

F. Michael (Mike) Crowley graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wake Forest University in 1973. He began his insurance broking career in 1974 with Johnson & Higgins, where he worked for over 17 years and served in several senior management positions, including senior vice president of Virginia operations, and on several practice committees. In 1991, he joined Palmer & Cay, a large privately owned insurance broker based in Savannah, Georgia, where he served as president and chief operating officer prior to being named vice chairman.
Mr. Crowley joined Hilb Rogal & Hobbs Company in 2004 as executive vice president and national director for property/casualty. In September 2005, Mike was appointed president of HRH, and in June 2008, he gained the additional title of chief operating officer. Mr. Crowley lead as president of Willis HRH North American after HRH was acquired by Willis Group Holdings in October 2008.
Today, he serves as President, Specialty Program Division and Co-Chief Operating Officer of Markel Corporation.
Mr. Crowley serves on Wake Forest's Calloway Business School Board of Visitors as well as the Richmond Board for The First Tee organization. He is a former member of the Young Presidents' Organization and has served on numerous community boards and individual company advisory councils.
